When you upload a portrait photo to Eairn, we process the following data locally on your device solely to provide our under-eye editing service:
- Under-eye skin tone, texture, and shadow patterns to identify and soften dark circles.
- Natural facial contours, including the shape and definition of the under-eye area and adjacent features (e.g., eye shape, cheek structure) to preserve the authentic appearance of eye bags and facial structure.
- Pixel-level color and brightness data from the under-eye region to apply subtle, natural-looking edits without altering the overall facial identity or expression.
- Metadata associated with the photo (e.g., file type, size, timestamp) to ensure proper processing and storage.
We do not collect or process full facial recognition data, biometric identifiers, or any data that can be used to uniquely identify an individual.
2. How We Use Your Photo Data
2.1 Primary Usage Purposes
- Core Editing Functionality: To analyze the under-eye area of photos and apply manual, user-directed edits to soften dark circles and shadows.
- Local Processing: All photo processing occurs locally on your device. We do not transmit your original or edited photos to our servers for processing.
- Service Improvement: Anonymized usage statistics (not containing photos) may be used to improve the performance of our editing tools.
- Customer Support: If you contact us for technical support, we only access data that you explicitly provide to us to resolve issues.
We do not use your photo data for targeted advertising, marketing, or any purpose not explicitly described in this policy.
3. Data Sharing & Storage
3.1 No Third-Party Sharing
Eairn **does not** sell, rent, or share your photo data or any personal information with third parties. Any photos processed in the app remain exclusively on your device.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose data only if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
3.2 Data Storage Location
- Local Storage: All original and edited photos are stored locally on your device. We do not provide cloud storage for your images.
4. Data Retention
- Local Data: All photos and projects remain on your device until you manually delete them or uninstall the Eairn app.
- Account Data: If you delete your account, your local profile and coin balance will be cleared from the device.
5. No Third-Party Service Data Processing
Eairn does not integrate with any third-party data processing services. Your usage remains private and local to your device.
6. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your photo data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- Secure storage for all data processed on your device.
- Restricted access to data, with access limited to authorized personnel who require it to perform their job functions.
- Regular security audits to identify and address potential risks.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. User Data Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You may request access to the data we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: You may request that we delete your data from our app.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Eairn app after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised policy, you must stop using Eairn immediately.
